Ingredients
3 ripe bananas
1/3 cup butter (salted or unsalted)
1 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 all-purpose flour
Directions
Step 1: Prepare for baking:
Preheat the oven to 350F and lightly spray a 8x4 inch loaf pan. Set aside.
Step 2: Mash bananas and butter:
In a medium size mixing bowl, mash together bananas and butter, with a fork, until completely mixed.
Step 3: Mix in the rest of the ingredients:
Mix together sugar, eggs, baking soda, and vanilla extract. Mix in flour.
Step 4: Bake bread:
Pour batter into into your prepared loaf pan. Bake for 55 minutes or until a toothpick is inserted and comes out clean. Toothpick does not have to come out clean a few crumbs are fine but wet batter is not.
Step 5: Cool and Serve:
Remove the bread from the oven and let cool for 4 minutes. Than remove banana bread from the pan. Let cool completely before serving.
