Ingredients
1 box cake mix
1 can vanilla frosting
Green food coloring
Red food coloring
1 bag shredded coconut
1 package red vines
1 bag jelly beans
Directions
Step 1: Make boxed cake:
Bake cake according to the directions on the box. Bake cake in 8x8 inch or 9x9 inch round baking pans. Let cake cool for 5 minutes before transferring to cooling rack.
Step 2: Prepare cake:
Cover a cookie sheet with tin foil to place the cut cake on. Let the cake cool completely before cutting. Place one round of the cake in the center of the cookie sheet for the bunnies head. Cut the second round to make the ears and the bowtie. To make the ears cut two convex shaped ears from each side and place on the top of the head. Place the remaining concave below the head for the bow tie.
Step 3: Frost the bunny:
Frost the entire bunny with vanilla frosting. It is ok if the frosting is not perfect. Cover the entire bunny in coconut after done with frosting.
Step 4: Decorate bunny:
Dye a small portion of the shredded coconut red. Place the red coconut in the inside of both ears. Dye a slightly larger amount of coconut green. Place the green coconut around the bunny to create grass. Decorate the face and bowtie with jelly beans and use licorice to create whiskers.
