Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 cups flour
2 cups old fashioned rolled oats
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
Step 1: Prepare for baking:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Cover cookie sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Step 2: Combine ingredients:
In a large size mixing bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs until fully combined. Mix in flour, old fashioned oats, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Fold in chocolate chips and chopped walnuts until evenly dispersed.
Step 4: Bake:
On pre-papered cookie sheet roll dough into 1 inch balls and place on cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Bake cookies for 10-12 minutes. Allow cookies a few minutes to cool before transferring to wire rack.
