Peach Cobbler

This peach cobbler can be made with fresh or frozen peaches. This peach cobbler is delicious and truly is easier than pie. It is best served with a scoop of ice cream.

Peach Cobbler Recipe

Ingredients

 
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter

  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour

  • 1 1/3 cups granulated sugar (divided)

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/3 cup milk

  • 1 egg

  • 2 cups peeled peaches

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Directions

 

Step 1: Prepare for baking:

Preheat the oven to 350F. While oven preheats, place butter in 8x8 baking pan and put in oven until melted.

Step 2: Make Cobbler mixture:

In a medium size mixing bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, milk, and egg until fully combined. Set aside.

Step 3: Prepare peaches:

In a medium size mixing bowl, combine peaches, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract. Set aside.

Step 4: Prepare and Bake :

Place cobbler mixture into prepared baking dish. Pour peaches on top of cobbler mixture. Sprnikle brown suger eveny over the cobbler. Bake for 40-42 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes before enjoying.
