Ingredients
Muffins:
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
3/4 cup milk
10 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Streusel Topping:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/4 cup granulated sugar
5 tablespoons brown sugar
Directions
Step 1: Preheat and prepare:
Preheat your oven to 375F. Spray or line a 12-muffin pan with non stick spray or with liners.
Step 2: Combine ingredients:
In a medium size mixing bowl combine flour, granulated sugar, cinnamon and baking powder, milk, butter, vanilla extract, and eggs until fully combined.
Step 3: Fill baking pans:
Spoon the batter into the liners or sprayed pan. Fill the pan or liners to the top with batter and set aside.
Step 4: Make streusel:
In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, butter, and brown sugar until crumbly. Sprinkle streusel on top of muffins until they are completely covered.
Step 6: Bake Muffins:
Place muffins in preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes. Insert a toothpick into muffins if clean take out the muffins. Let cool for 10 minutes before enjoying.
